N & K Marine

N & K Marine is a full-service marina on the Half Moon and Bruin Lake chain of lakes near Gregory, one mile from the Bruin Lake Campground. Sandy and J.R. Mitter bought it in August 2000, and J.R. has spent 45 years in the marine business. Repair work covers fiberglass repair, pontoon restoration and re-decking, tune-ups, oil changes, gearcase, engine and carburetor rebuilds, prop reconditioning, spring prep and winterization. Shrink wrapping is done at the shop, and indoor and outdoor storage, pickup and delivery, dock slips, pontoon rental, a boat ramp, gasoline and a parts department are also offered. New customers are asked to call to reserve winter storage and service, and boats need two weeks of notice to be pulled from storage.
